Hatha Yoga
The practice of Hatha Yoga includes classic yoga postures (asana) and breath techniques (pranayama), for the purpose of balancing, purifying and strengthening the body, mind and spirit.  Yoga is an ancient, highly sophisticated art and science used to create self-awareness and inner peace.  The word "Hatha" means "Ha" - Sun, and "tha" - Moon, and the word "Yoga" means Union.  Practicing Hatha Yoga and meditation creates a balanced union between the body, mind and spirit and solves problems of unhappiness, restlessness, emotional imbalances and hyperactivity.  It promotes harmony on all levels of existence, for example, physical anatomy, mental, emotional and psychospiritual.  The body heals the mind as does the mind heal the body.  As the body becomes more flexible so does the mind and as the mind becomes more flexible we are then able to enjoy new experiences, challenges and opportunities in our day to day lives!

Yogalates:  Stretch and Strengthen while moving through the breath.  Yogalates is a blend of Yoga and Pilates, which complement each other if placed in the correct sequence.  This class focuses on developing core strength, stretching and breathing.  The experience will leave you fully energized yet feeling completely relaxed.

Restorative Yoga:  This class is a gentle class, where a deep unwinding of the brain and body will take place.  We will practice yoga poses supported by props and hold the poses for a longer time than we would in a Yogalates class or even a regular Hatha Yoga class.  Restorative Yoga will allow you to let go of stress, tension and stiffness that everyday life challenges bring us.  Those recovering from illness or injury will greatly benefit from Restorative Yoga.  This class is suitable for "all levels" of students, including beginners and will require purchasing the "Miracle Method" Balls.

Power Flow Yoga:  Based on the traditional style of Yoga called Ashtanga Yoga, "Power Flow Yoga" allows the participant to flow from one pose to the next at a steady pace, creating a cardiovascular effect.  The main consistency of the class stems from the Sun Salutation adding a variety of movement and poses to the sequence.  This is definately an intense Yoga class that will make you sweat and drop a few of those extra pounds!

Hatha Yoga with Crystal Yoga Meditation:  In this class you will experience authentic classic Yoga which includes asanas (postures), pranayama (breath techniques) and meditation.  The Crystal Yoga Meditation involves the use of crystals and stones to help balance the internal energy system.  This is an exquisite experience you are sure to enjoy! This class is offered on Saturday mornings at 9:30am.
