Yoga Teacher Training Certification Course A 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program in the tradition of classic authentic Hatha Yoga with a nondenominational style valuing all yogic traditions. This program is the perfect launching pad for teaching as well as a fantastic way to deepen your own personal practice. Learn to teach and practice yoga as more than a physical exercise but as a profound science uniting movement, breath, sound, concentration, meditation and prayer. The curriculum consists of hatha yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breath techniques), meditation, chanting, kriya, bandhas, philosophy, anatomy, Sanskrit, the chakra system, and the business side of Yoga. Graduates of this program will gain the technical skills, confidence, and compassion required to successfully teach Yoga to all levels of students. The next 3 month course will start February 2009.
A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required upon registration in order to hold your space. The course will take place in Markham at the More Than Just Yoga Studio located at 9th line and Highway 7, in the Ashgrove Family Massage Therapy Clinic, suite 108.
